Hadron Lights
Technology
Five values decide how a light looks and performs. Here is what each one means when you choose a product.
Colour temperature
Measured in kelvin. Below 3000 K light feels warm and calm, around 4000 K it is neutral and focused, above 5000 K it is cool and alert. Choose it for the room, not for the lamp.
Explore productsColour rendering
How faithfully a light shows real colours, scored up to 100. Ra 80 suits corridors and offices. Ra 90 and above is for shops, galleries and homes, where skin tones and materials matter.
Explore productsBeam angle
A narrow 15° beam picks out one object. 36° lights a wall or a table. 60° and wider washes a whole area. The same fitting with another lens changes the character of a room.

Two digits: the first for dust, the second for water. Pick the digits for where the light will live, and the product page lists the exact rating.
Explore productsLuminous efficacy
Lumens per watt: how much light you get for the energy you pay for. Our catalogue runs from 80 to 150 lm/W, far less energy than halogen or fluorescent lamps for the same light.
